Other judicial officers shall be selected 82 in such manner and shall have such tenure, compensation and 83 other qualification as may be fixed by law. The General Assembly 84 shall prescribe mandatory retirement for Judges of the Supreme 85 COUI"! 86 for adequate retirement compensation. The foregoing proposed amendment to the Constitution 2 of Iowa, haying been adopted and agreed to by the Fifty-eighth 3 (58th) General Assembly, thereafter duly published, and now 1 adopted and agreed to pay the Fifty-ninth (59th) General Assembly 5 in this Joint Resolution, shall be submitted to the people at a 6 special election to be held for that purpose at the same time 7 and in conjunction with the primary election to be held for the 8 selection of political party candidates for public office in the 9 year nineteen hundred sixty-two (1962).
