SUBJECT: Destruction and Disposal of Evidence

1. The I44 '52 of?ce is requesting to dispose of evidence that is no longer required to be stored.
All listed items are not tied to any active investigations and some items are ol? sanitary concern.

2. IAW AFI 31-1 l5 one witness must be present when destroying or disposing of non-retumable
items. I have coordinated with Bioenvironmental Engineer I44 MDG who
has agreed to assist in proper disposal of the following items: Case# 14-01-00] 1) Glass
smoking pipe with possible marijuana residue. lit-tin burnt smoking paper. Case# 
(1) Pair of sage green boots soiled in urine. (1) Pair ofsage green socks soiled in urine. Pair
ofblousing straps soiled in urine. (I) Glass vile with approx. 4m] ol'urine. Casest 2015-04-00l
(3) Fake/False penises made ot?latex/rubber. (1) Plastic bladder with yellow liquid and tube
attached. (I) Plastic bladder with dry yellow substance inside. 1} Black nylon bag with bottle ot?
yellow ?uid. (1) Plastic pouch with unknown white powdery substance inside. (I Small bag.
with white crushed pill. (1) White cap for small plastic tube. (1) White waist strap. (1 Men's
black boxer shorts. Black nylon pouch containing (1) straw. (2) Small empty plastic bags.

 

3. AFI 31-1 15 Evidence custodians must obtain written approval from the SJA of?ce
before disposing of evidence. Final disposition of evidence must he annotated on the original Al"
Form 52 evidence tag.
