Feb 9th 2019 Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and give you some very valuable information. My name is Kimberly Baumgardner, I am the executive director of St. Lucie Christian School, a subsidiary of Treasure Coast Youth and Community Development Corporation. I have been a children’s advocate serving our community for the last 25 years right here on the Treasure Coast. I have been a social worker, a teacher, worked as an administrator of schools, served as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor, taught parenting, contracted with the United Way, I have served as an administrator of a Bible college, a principal, and ran a successful abstinence program for teenagers. I am at heart an educator with a mission to better our community. I believe we can provide a quality education to our children and still introduce them to our creator and help every child discover their destiny, potential and purpose. I am also a Pastor’s wife. I am married to Jason Baumgartner who is the senior pastor of Truth Church of the Treasure Coast. If you would like to learn more about us I want to extend to you an invitation to our church located at 4300 Okeechobee Rd Fort Pierce, Florida 34947. We are located in the Orange Blossom Business center. Church starts at 10am. The very latest news is: Michael Woodberry, has resigned his position as president of Barnabas Christian Academy and CEO. He stepped aside so that the future of Barnabas Christian Academy may have the opportunity to reach its fullest potential. I’ve been asked to step in as the president and CEO of Barnabas Christian Academy and have accepted this position. As president of the newly restructured Board of Directors for Barnabas Christian Academy I am initiating a plan for a very prosperous and bright future for our school. I would very much like to meet you Monday night at 6pm and lay out for you our new direction. My immediate goal is to complete this school year successfully and then take that success and build on it for the 2019/2020 academic year. I recognize it has been a difficult school year in many ways, However I am so encouraged to see how our parents and staff have pulled together to make the best of things. I just believe that it is the difficult things in our lives that often times propel us to our greatest potential. I so look forward to meeting you Monday evening at 6pm at the campus of Barnabas Christian Academy. Please come with your questions and I will do my best to answer them. I am including a copy of my Resume so you can get more familiar with my qualifications. Sincerely, Kim Baumgardner Barnabas Christian
