MEMORANDUM FOR LTC'Michael D. Pazdernik, Joint Force Headquarters - MN, 600
Cedar Street, Saint Paul, MN 5510?!

SUBJECT: Letter of Reprimand

1. 0n multiple occasions, and over an extended period of time, you engaged in multiple
sexual relationships with at least ?ve female Soldiers while you were married. Four of
these individuals were directly under your command when you engaged in these
prohibited relationships and three of these individuals were enlisted. This is disgraceful
and a clear violation of Army law and policy. Additionally, in the course of an
investigation, you knowingly made a false statement under oath, and equally egregious,
you pressured a female Soldier to lie about your prohibited relationship.

2. What is most troubling about your misconduct is the method you chose to target
female Soldiers. These vulnerable Soldiers looked to you for leadership and
mentorship, and you exploited their trust for your own sexual gratification. This conduct
is prejudicial to good order and discipline, incompatible with the Army values and ethical
standards, and unbecoming of an of?cer in the Minnesota National Guard.

3. You are hereby reprimanded. As an of?cer, you are expected to provide the
benchmark for professionalism and leadership within our organization and lead by
example. You have failed to meet these standards. Your actions demonstrate a severe
lack of respect for fellow? Soldiers and complete disregard for Army regulations. As
such, it raises grave doubts about your suitability as a future leader within the United
States Army and Minnesota National Guard. This conduct will not be tolerated.

4. This action is considered punitive in nature and imposed under the provisions of
Minnesota Code of Military Justice. This reprimand will be filed in your
Official Military Personnel File as part of your non-judicial punishment. This reprimand
is referred to you, AR 600-37, paragraph 3-3, as a record non?judicial
punishment. Therefore, it is exempt from recipient referral procedures. and no

opportunity for a rebuttal is permitted.
