Here is a slatement Board President Dr, Sharon Whitenurst--Payne:

appreciate you reachng out lo me on this issue. I have personally discussed this wilh our superintendenl and lacilities

slaif, and understand trial Clark Middle experienced heating issues in lhe zoo huilding on January 22, followed hy the am)
building on January 31.

While dislricl slalf were able to immediately restore heal la lhe 300 building, the 200 huilding required lmubleshaming and
wasn't lully resolved unlil a law weeks laler, While lhe problem was investigaled, lhe principal look immediale action and
brought in in parlahle healers and oflered to relocate all impacled classrooms,

I believe there is always room for improvement so I have asked the superintendenl lo provide a full incident repon to the
board hy our next meeting,"
