Mineral County Republican Executive Committee
Whereas Governor Jim Justice is a conservative leader that has been accepted with open arms by the
Mineral County Republican Executive Committee after switching party affiliations from Democrat to
Republican;
Whereas the Governor has placed highly qualified and competent men and women within the various
appointed roles in the state government, many of whom actively attend to the needs of Mineral County;
Whereas individuals such as Commerce Secretary Ed Gaunch and Tourism Commissioner Chelsea Ruby
have gone above and beyond for the county, promoting the growth of business and growth of tourism
respectively;
Whereas the impacts of the Governor’s leadership has led to the expansion of Northrop Grumman, a
prominent business within the county, and the creation of five hundred eighty-three jobs;
Whereas the results provided by the Governor and his appointees has been positively received by the
people of Mineral County;
Resolved, that the Mineral County Republican Executive Committee lends its full support and confidence
in Governor Jim Justice in his leadership of the state of West Virginia.
