Please note also that I am not speaking for the WSEA. It sounds as though you are aware that a statement I made in an email was misconstrued. That apparent misinterpretation came as a complete surprise to me and sent an email apologizing and clarifying my actual intent. In case you do not have that email, [have included tt below my name. Regarding your statement that one of my colleagues on the WSBA Board of Governors is seeking my removal. goven'lor Athan Papailiou has made numerous attempts to remove many us from the Board ufGovemors, so this is nothing new. Governor Papailio is also currently trying to remove three other governors for whom I have the utmost respect. As always, we will recuse ourselves and the others on the BOG will look carefully at all of the facts betbre making their decision. I am completely confident that nobody will be removed due to Governor Papailiuu's baseless attacks. Sincerely, Paul chgle Hello Members of FLEC, Mr. and Ms. Beauregard, and others, I have received much thoughtful feedback concerning this statement from a recent email: Shenanigans directed toward averturnt'rtg the Board's proper decision andprocesses terminating the prior Director commute like the screeching antics qfa'r) many/lying monkeys: Mast recently these Include afailirtg petition to relmpuse theforrner ED on the WSBA and (it) a baseless lawsuit, Lincoln Beauregard WSBA. filed by Steven ogg oftha Corr Cronin .. I made that statement with absolutely no intent ofracial overtones whatsoever, and no expectation that any such overtones might even be perceived. It was intended only as a reference to the lnost chaotic scenes in the Wizard of Oz and to call out chaotic and baseless attacks by numerous persons, nothing more. 1 now understand that some vrewed those words orherwrse and were hurt, or otherwise took offense. The feedback Ihave received has convinced me that those feelings were quite genuine. For those whom my words hurt or offended, I offer to all of you my most sincere apologies, I intended no such hurt or offense. I promise to choose my words more carefully in the future, so as to not cause unintended hurt or offense. I have always been a very accepting, tolerant and inclusive person and have never before been accused of a single racist act or statement. I will certainly use this as a learning opportunity to be more sensitive to the feelings of others. Thank you to those who have provided your feedback to me.
