Fellow Council Members, I hope the first couple weeks of Spring Quarter has treated you well. I am writing this email to officially notify the council of my resignation from the position of Transfer Senator, effective today directly following Unfinished Business. I am resigning NOT because I did anything wrong, but life is too short to waste a second, and I have been already truly blessed with the time I have spent on council. As I write you this email, I find myself a bit sad, but not out of frustration nor anger, but because it's truly been a pleasure to serve the council and student body. I have learned so much in my roles as Campus-Wide Senator, Transfer Senator two times, Chief of Staff of the A.S. Office of Triton Athletics and Spirit two times, Financial Director of the A.S. Office of External Affairs, Marketing Officer for the A.S. Office of the President, the Intern for the A.S. Office of Campus Affairs, etc., learned from members of this council, learned from our fabulous full time staff, and the students. I will greatly miss these experiences, but also look forward to the opportunities upcoming where I will get to directly apply the lessons you have taught me to even greater challenges facing our communities and country. Tonight is my last meeting, I look forward to saying bye. Thank you for giving me something to do while I was bored in retirement. Shout out to all the alumni. Your words and comments have been fun. All I can do is say is thank you for this life I never deserve. What else can I say, except thank you.
