AS you can see, we mitigated 10 Calls during the Hickory Hollow CO event. We received Mutual Aid from Westland FD, Wayne PD, Inkster FD, Inkster PD and Consumers Energy. We had one (1) fatality. 267 units Hickory Hollow facility were monitored for Carbon Monoxide. 26 units were found to have levels of CO. Occupants were evacuated from homes. Those whom had no place to go were placed in the Hickory Hollow Club House where they were provided food, beverage and kept warm. The source of CO was discovered and mitigated. All homes were cleared and all displaced residents were able to return to their homes prior to City of Wayne Department clearing the scene.
