District Reports were given by Leila Walker on transportation and 504; Monja
Kelson on Special Education; Judy Collins- Human Resources; Rodney Lilleydistrict finances
• FOKS District Updates- No new updates
Action Item
1. Vote to approve minutes from previous meeting. APPROVED
Motion made by Eartha Johnson 2nd by Bobbie Cornish

New Business
1. Charter School Conference 2019 (Las Vegas)- Board members were given
information to register for conference. Must register with Judy Collins by
March 30th.
V. Updates
1. CEO’s Succession Plan-

Dr. Hicks stated she will not retire until the board has found a candidate to
replace her. She will work with the district through the transition.
2. 2019-20 Academic Calendar (4-day work week)- The district will
implement a four-day work week beginning fall 2019.
