in Caerdeo.

On 7/15/16, at approximately 2101 hours, I was dispatched to 128" Military Road South regarding the report
of an assault that occurred at Cascade Behavioral. Prior to arrival, dispatch advised that two patients were
assaulted by another patient inside Cascade Behavioralt Upon arrival, I was met by a staff member who
escorted me up to the second floor where all three involved patients were already separated and 

loontacted the first victlm and him as-- _sald that he

was in the kitchen looking for a drink when without provocation and by surprise, he was punched by another
patient, -- sald the patent that assaulted did so by punching on the right side althe
jaw, After getting punched, --said a coupie of nurses escorted him over to another room.
--said that he wanted to press charges because he did not reel safe inside Cascade Behavioral
with the other patient present.

Alter talking to I contacted the second victim and identified him as

reported a similar incident to--s. -stated that while standing In
the hallway, he was looklng for something to eat when he was suddenly attacked by another patient, -
said he was punched on the right side or his jaw. After getting punched,- said he simply walked away
and went back to his room.

ambulance to a local hospital for additional treatment.

It should be noted that Cascade Behavioral has no on-site security so the only reason both assaults stopped
was because the sus ect stopped the attack on his own. One of the staff members identified the suspect as
l. was escorted to a room where he was sitting in the doorway but
was not restrained or in a secured room that kept him other patients.

. Based on the statements fro_ and- determined there was probable cause to arrest
_ior Assault Degree and took him into custody without incident.
