The City of Dayton, Ohio

WHEREAS, The City of Dayton and its residents are pleased to
be home to Orv and Willa, the Carillon Historical Park Bald Eagles; and

WHEREAS, Carillon Historical Park provides a welcoming home
for Orv and Willa and their three eaglets. They have graciously o?ered
residents a rare opportunity to observe their family up close. As life?long
mates, we ?ve watched them expand their nest to prepare for their growing
family, and create a comfortable space for them in a sycamore tree,
appropriately right above Wright Hall; and

WHEREAS, June 20th commemorates the day in 1782, when the
bald eagle was added to the o?icial Seal of the United States, and we are
proud to have two very special bald eagles call Dayton home; and

WHEREAS, The City of Dayton and its residents are thankful
that Orv and Willa shares their life with us, and we will continue to
provide a welcoming environment to raise their family; and

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Nan Whaley, Mayor of the City of
Dayton, do hereby proclaim the 20th of june 2019 as

Orv and Willa Day

in Dayton.

IN WITNESS WHEREOP, I have hereunto set my
