Subject: New Apparatus Familiarization Class
Date: June 20, 2019

 

Over the last few weeks, the Houston Fire Department has received 10 new
pumpers.

Prior to going in service, crews will be required to attend a
familiarization class. Stations 35, 36, 80, and 21 will attend the final class.

Class will begin at 0800 at the VJTF. Members assigned to suppression
apparatus will go out of service. EMS crews may go out of service at the

discretion of EMS. Crews will arrive to limit the duration of out of
service time. Training will occur on the dates below:

BID1 Shift: June 24,2019
AIC2 Shift: June 25, 2019
CIA3 Shift: June 27, 2019
DIB3 Shift: June 28, 2019

At the end of class on June the new apparatus shall be placed in
service. Any questions regarding this class or memorandum can be directed
