Instead, OSH identi?es service and care needs, making it easier for community partners to provide services in the most integrated setting possible. This has led to some confusion regarding whether or not the LOCUS should still be administered in the community. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has contracted with KEPRO to do Utilization Review and Medicaid service determinations for patients discharging from OSH, and for those individuals receiving treatment in the following licensed residential care settings: 0 Secure Residential Treatment Facilities (SRTF) 0 Residential Treatment Facilities (RTF) 0 Residential Treatment Homes (RTF) For individuals in these settings, the LOCUS is no longer required, as KEPRO performs person centered need and care assessments. For those individuals residing in Adult Foster Homes (AFH), KEPRO uses both the LOCUS and the Level of Service Inventory (LSI) to determine eligibility for services. We think this change will result in less work for our partners and a more ef?cient transition process for the individuals we serve.
