The San Diego City Council received complaints by San Diego resident Matt Valenti against the San Diego
Junior Theater Board of Directors as well as the office of the San Diego City Attorney. The complaints
were submitted in writing1 and made during public comments at the May 7, 2019 Budget Review
Committee hearing. 2
We are writing to respectfully request your respective offices' review and consideration for appropriate
action, as the authority to investigate these complaints falls under the jurisdiction of your departments.
We believe a timely resolution to this matter is in the best interest of all parties. If you have any
