No one will be required to move to a new geographic location. The majority of staff will continue to perform the same work, albeit in a new organization. Staff will be reassigned initially based on function. Over time, if a change is needed, they will be handled on an individual basis. Office of Research and Development 3/7/2019 8 ORD Proposed Reorganization An Intranet page dedicated to sharing information about ORD’s proposed reorganization is at https://intranet.ord.epa.gov/about-ord/proposedreorganization. Submit questions regarding the reorganization to the “Questions about the ORD Reorganization” box located at the bottom of the ORD Proposed Reorganization Intranet page (https://intranet.ord.epa.gov/about-ord/proposed-reorganization). Staff will have an opportunity to provide more specific input on organizational functions, such as the following, as more details become available. • Are there functions missing? If so what? • Are there functions mis-placed? If so, which ones and where would they go? Our Union partners will be included in future discussions as appropriate per governing agreements.
