On July 2. 2019. at our Majority Caucus to discuss the potential of convening an override
session. eleven bills were identi?ed as having some interest to be considered to be on the agenda
ofan override session. These bills are: HB 629. HB 748. HB 1133. HB 290. SB 33. SB 92. SB
301, SB 551. SB 1353. SB 1405 and SB 1459. While the list ofeleven bills was assembled.
there was no indication that any said bill had the requisite number of votes to override Governor
Ige's veto. Additionally. all members were not present in the Majority Caucus, including
Minority Leader Senator Kurt Fevella. This means that the list ofeleven bills may be increased
if non-attending members seek to consider other bills for potential override consideration.

In light of the requirement that the Legislature must convene before noon on July 9, 2019. (next
week Tuesday). and in order to prepare to discuss this matter with Speaker Saiki. it is imperative
to determine if there are seventeen members who would vote to override a speci?c vetoed
measure.

Please provide me with your list by noon tomorrow. July 3. 2019 and if you would be in
attendance for said override veto session.
