Oldson Fire District #1 Proposition No. 1 MULTIPLE YEAR LEVY LID LIFT The Board of Benton County Fire Protection District No. 1 adopted Resolution No. 2019-05 concerning a proposition to maintain and adequately fund District operations. This proposition authorizes the District to restore its regular property tax levy to $1.50 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation in 2019 and authorizes annual increases of up to 6% for each of the succeeding five years not to exceed $1.50 per $1,000. The funds will maintain fire protection, emergency medical services and firefighter safety. The maximum allowable levy in 2024 shall serve as the base for subsequent levy limitations as provided by Chapter 84.55 RCW. Should this proposition be: West Benton Regional Fire Authority Proposition No. 1 PROPOSITION TAX LEVY FOR FIRE PROTECTION, PREVENTION AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES The Board of West Benton Regional Fire Authority adopted Amended Resolution 2019-4 concerning a proposition to maintain and adequately fund Fire Authority operations. This Proposition will authorize Fire Authority to increase its regular property tax levy to an amount not to exceed $1.30 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation for assessment in 2019 and collection in 2020; and authorize setting a limit factor of 4% above the prior year for each of the five succeeding years for fire protection and emergency medical services. 2024 maximum allowable levy for 2025 collection shall serve as base for subsequent levy limitations provided in RCW 84.55. Unlimited tax general obligation bonds would be issued in a maximum principal amount of not to exceed $3,000,000, maturing within 20 years from date of issue, and repaid from an annual excess levy on real property, all as provided in the Resolution.
