with a facility to MTN Group, one of the largest telecommunications infrastructure company in Africa, for the
purposes of financing investments and acquisitions.

The deal shows the importance of China-Africa commercial ties. The potential of Africa?s telecommunications
infrastructure is also noteworthy, particularly in the light of economic challenges being faced by Nigeria.
