It was a pleasure talking to you this week. Below are the answers to your questions:
- That Kelly was employed part-time as a men's health physician at CSUN starting in
October 2002

This is correct Dr. Kelly worked 6 hours a week in ms role.

- That alter his resignation from USC. he continued working at CSUN until February 12,
2019, when he was placed on administrative leave

This is correct USC did not notify CSUN that Dr. Kelly resigned. retired for cause or was
tired from USC.

- That he was CSUN's only men's health specialist (per the CSUN website, which listed
him as such)

 

While Dr. Kelly was listed as a "men's health specxalist," all of our MDs in Primary Care
also saw men's health patients, and patients were not solely directed to Dr Kelly.

It would be great it CSUN could confirm the information listed above. Additionally, we
would like an official comment from CSUN about whether USC alerted them prior to Kelly
being placed on administrative leave, as well as whether he is still officially on
administrative leave and if there have been any additional updates since February 12.

As stated above, USC not alert CSUN regarding Dr. Kelly. CSUN learned Tuesday.
Feb 12 of a lawsuit filed that morning against Dr. Dennis Kelly. a Klotz Student
Health Center Men's Health Physician. relating to work at USC At the

time. CSUN was not aware of any complaints against Dr. Kelly and learned of the lawsuit
from Dr. Kelly.

The health and safety of our students l5 our top priority. We take the disturbing
allegations by the former USC students. as well as any sexual assault. battery or
harassment allegation against anyone at the university, seriously. When CSUN learned of
the allegations, the university immediately removed him from seeing patients and moved
his scheduled patients to other primary care providers.

CSUN is continuing its own investigation into Dr. Kelly's work at the university. Out of an
abundance of caution, while CSUN is investigating this matter. Dr. Kelly was placed on
immediate administrative leave beginning Feb 12, and this remains in effect.

The story also includes an excerpt from Kelly's bio on the USC student health website
from around 2004, in which he writes that he was "instrumental in developing men's
health as concept at USC. UCLA and California State University Northridge, since

We can only speak tor CSUN. Al CSUN, male patients were seen by all Klolz Sludenl
Health Center primary care providers including tor sexual and reproductive health.
