Additionally to inspect for compliance with requirements/guidelines per the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Part Eight (2009 edition, 2012 rev.) regarding the City of Denton TX QZ filed with FRA Ref# THR-000889 established and effective June 6, 2011. The following was found during this inspection: Colorado Blvd is listed in the City of Denton Notice of Quiet Zone Establishment and the QZ Calculation sheets as U.S. DOT 414680T which is Spencer Rd. (closed). The correct U.S. DOT for Colorado Blvd is 414679Y listed correctly in the Letter of Affirmation (LOA) dated August 10, 2017 received by FRA on August 15, 2017. I inspected for the proper placement and maintenance of Highway-Rail Grade Crossing Emergency Notification System Signs (ENSS) for compliance with 49 CFR Part 234 Subpart E and found them to be in compliance. No defects. No defects. FRA also met with DCTA-CTC and City of Denton officials for safety briefing and a discussion at Brinker Rd (414686J) to address any questions and or concerns regarding FRA Quiet Zone review and inspection process.
