THIS MATTER having come before the Court upon Plaintiff’s application for Default
Judgment.
1.

A default was entered by the Clerk of Court against Defendants Scott Griffen and
GSS BB, LLC, d/b/a Hickory’s Hall Banquet & Event Center on June 21, 2016.

2.

Defendants are not minors, nor incompetent persons, nor members of the military
service of the United States.

3.

Defendants did not appear or otherwise defend in this action.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that Plaintiff’s application
for Default Judgment filed on July 14, 2016 is GRANTED. The Court enters judgment for the
Plaintiff and against Defendants, pursuant to Iowa Code § 535.2 and § 668.13 in the amount of
$25,316.06 for damages plus interest from the commencement of the suit at five percent (5%).
