AI arrival, Officer Guzman, observed a male subject, later identified as Seth Bradley Blake (Defendant), being held down by family members. ofiicer isaac Vasquez #Sfil, who had anived to assist, and Officer Guzman asked the handy members to release the defendant, which at that point Officer Vasquez yabhed the defendant by tlte right arm and guided him to the floor. Once on the ground Officer Guzman assisted officer Vasquez in detaining the defendant Officer VMquez then escorted the defendant outside, Officer Guzman then made contact with the victim, identified as -- who was holding a bloody towel over his Iefi ear. officer Guzman asked the victim to show him what the defendant had done, wh the vi im the removed the towel, where Officer Guzman observed the top portion ofthe left ear missing The victim stated that the defendant had a problem and was on something. The victim stopped talking and started to pace hack and forth. otficer Guzman made contact with the defendants sister, identified as who stated that her father had confronted her brother (defendant), due to him taking medication from a safe box and nbusing I -stated that the defendant had become hostile and swung at her father striking him on the right side of the face. wd saying that her father then tank the defendant down in the ground in attempt to control stated that while on the ground defendant bit the top portion of her fatheth left car off. Officer Vasquez escorted tlte defendant to his patrol unit (U342)and placed him inside the backseat where the defendant started kicking the rear passenger door panel. Gonzalez #560) made Contact with the victim at Rio Grande Regional Hospital (101 E. Ridge Road McAllen, Texas) who advised that he did not wish to file charges on the defendant or provide me a statement.
