I understand the challenge of finding qualified consultants these days who understand the LAFCO world. The only referrals I can think of are Rich Miller, who is based in SD, and Jim Simon at RSG. I recently went back under contract with the City of Chula Vista to provide LAFCO advisory services related to the Otay Landfill annexation proposal by the County. I am actually not taking on anymore consulting work but I made an exception for Chula Vista as a favor. 90% of my time has been retained by my real estate development client (I'm their VP of Development) but it's really more like 110%, and I have a couple other city and real estate clients/projects, so I'm completely maxed out. 1 Are you able to share who the two agencies are? I assume it's not Chula Vista and the County since they haven't had any formal or informal discussions at the staff level about the landfill property yet (to my knowledge). As always, thanks for thinking of me.
