Petitioner/Plaintiff County of Los Angeles’ (“County”) Motion for Preliminary Injunction

3 came on for hearing before this Court on August 16, 2019. Having considered the papers,
4 declarations, evidence, and oral argument of the parties, and good cause having been shown:

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the County’s Motion for Preliminary Injunction is

6 GRANTED.
7

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that:

1)

Pending the trial of this action or further order of this Court, Caren Carl Mandoyan
(“Mandoyan”) cease to hold himself out as a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff;

2)

Mandoyan relinquish all County property in his possession, including any
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department-issued uniform, badge and weapon; and

3)

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva cease to recognize or hold Mandoyan

13

out as a Deputy Sheriff or a County employee, and direct the Los Angeles County

14

Sheriff’s Department to act in accordance herewith.
The Court reserves jurisdiction to modify or dissolve the injunction as may be required by

15

16 the interests of justice.
