for Italians studying in Italy. And the third one which is also important is to organize
from time to time seminars of topical nature in Rome and in London
which would sort of bring together the top experts to discuss in an informal
way. This is like the workings of a think tank. Why I am doing this? The major, my
major profession how would I call it, expertise has always been that of, what I would
call, track to diplomacy, which is bringing not the governments directly in touch with
each other, but indiyiduals, institutions. I?m member of the Europena council of
foreign relations, member of at that time member of the European Council on
foreign relations, member as well of [sash] PITB the business and diplomacy area in
the UK, all of this I think was extremely important. Why was this so important,
because this was the kind of decisions and discussions that would take place and in
an informal setting where people discuss sometimes openly topical issues which are
of major consent then. During the meeting, during meetings I did not had the
opportunity of meeting with George Papadopoulos during the official meetings. But
during the dinner, there was an official dinner, [sash] giyen by Prof. Vincenzo Scotti
former minster, former state secretary which was hosted in a top Italian
restaurant. During this dinner I was asked to co-host a table, because there were two
tables, one table was Prof. Scotti, second one with Nagi and [sash] the rest of the
team, some of the team. And sat down with a number ofother people coming from
London Centre of International Law Practice. During this meeting George and I not
eyen sat next to each other, so this was [sash] and we, during the meetings we
discussed general topics from China to Asia to, to, yarious, Africa, migration, GALF,
Ukraine, so we discussed a number of issues, which were topical at that stage.

Dr. Rob: Can you state who came from 

Prof. Mifsud: ldon?t remember all the names, but a list can be found of these people [ahm]. There
were a number of people, professors from the United States, lawyers from the
United States, people who work in Geneya in the strategic and international
relations, people coming from London. So it was a mixed group which was chosen by
Nagi. Was not [sash], this were the guest topic, whoeyer to be the experts attached
to the topics to be developed in Rome and in London together with Link Campus.
That was the Idea. After the meeting [ahm] as we were leaying the restaurant I had
the opportunity, because you know we started discussing about who does what,
okay, I met informally, because this was the I met I mean we discussed informally
going out ofthe restaurant the fact that that George Papadopoulos was
going to be attached to [sash] because I did not know by then that he was a member
of a campaign or anything like that {sash} I got to know later for example about many
other things [sash] that he was going to join the [sash] Mr. Trump's campaign. And
we discussed the possibility of organizing, and he said he was yery interested, and his
brief was going to be energy and belieye he spoke briefly to be about which the
continued our discussion, about the project that he had inyolying Greece, Lebanon,
Jordan, Israel, about the sharing of energy fields within the ring.

Dr. Roh: Can you disclose or did you know if he works for other institutions than 

Prof. Mifsud: Yes, I belieye that he either from him or from Hagi because I did ask, okay. He, was
informed, I was told that he is member or he had worked at the Atlantic counsel
which is a think tank. So a think tank like any others which has good corporations
within a number of countries in the world.
