I’ve spoken with you all individually about connecting for a serious, thoughtful dialogue about ‘what’s
possible’ on a few key climate strategies and bills.
Please accept my personal invitation to join a climate policy discussion at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 30 in
downtown Seattle. The purpose of the meeting is to specifically outline latest thinking about: 1) 100%
renewables and 2) cap & trade bill. I am not inviting other players at this point so that we can outline the
framework of what might be possible. Please keep the meeting discrete at this point in order to make it as
productive as possible at this stage.
Joe, please bring any appropriate staff. Denny, per our discussion, you are authorized and invited to bring
direct representatives of both PSE and BP only. Any other ‘must attend’ names from anyone please check
with me first.
