Retired members of the California Public Employees? Retirement System have the

oppornmity to elect a retiree representative to the Board in the election that
occurs August 30 September 3i}.

Some disturbing informati

on has come to light about one of the candidates naming for the
retiree seat1 Ll. Jelincic.

A State Personnel Board administrative law judge reprimanded Mr. Jelincie in 2011 for
sexually harassing three female employees.

State Treasurer Fiona Ma sent a letter calling on Jeiincic to withdraw from the 

election because of his history of harassing women who work at the pension fund. We have
enclosed State Treasurer Ma?s letter for you to review.

Protecting our retirement security and healtheare bene?ts needs to be the top priority for the

WERE Board. We cannot afford to elect someone who?s behavior will distract from this
troportant work.
