Christine said in an email to OCFO last week that she had gotten your approval to spend (up to)
$52,294.40 for the contract to provide Legal Support Services for obtaining paralegal and attorney assistance for the
rulemaking effort/review of comments. OCFO is asking for documentation of your approval. The Statement of
Work (SOW) for this is attached. The $52,294.40 amount can be found in the appendix to the attached SOW.

We need to give OCFO your approval for this to move forward, and was told that your approval by
email would be sufficient.

Once you approve this by email, I will need to get the GC to approve it as well. It spoke with OCFO
today and they told me that for all budget items, the GC must also approve the expenditure.
