LDOE completed the transcript verification for 66 students that had taken
gradepoint courses at some point.

22 students that did not walk, there records are currently being
validated and understood to understand what they need to graduate.

Gradepoint:
66 students took 119 courses on gradepoint
- 30 enrolled in more than one course in gradepoint
- 87 of the courses had impropriety and did not meet business rules to
award credit
- 32 credits were awarded
- 9 students had legitimate activity in the courses
Gradepoint courses have two modes, credit recovery or online course.
All students were enrolled in credit recovery which sets a prescriptive mode.
Changes were made to grades in the system by the five administrators of
JFK, which lead to their termination. Additionally, Dr. Runnell King was noted
as to be one of the administrators that can be seen in the gradepoint
systems changing grades in the system.

It is unclear as to why this occurred.

Updates: counselors were not the ones creating the master schedule.
Additionally, they were not allowed to get transcripts from the other schools
and use to determine the courses/classes that students needed, the
administrators were the only ones.
Updates: State Superintendent can grant a one-credit waiver, but then they
immediately become ineligible for TOPS due to missing a credit.

Additionally: Career Compass to provide the PD, and be hired to complete
audits of adherence to graduation requirements per LDOE.
