This is in further response to your March 26, 2018 Freedom of Information Act request
seeking access to records of communications between the Office of the Assistant Attorney
General of the Civil Rights Division and specific Governors and Attorney Generals, relating to
immigration enforcement, DACA, border protection, or potential or actual changes to federal
immigration policy or practices from September 5, 2017 to the present.
After a thorough search, I have determined that the Civil Rights Division has no
responsive records pertaining to your request.
If you are not satisfied with my response to this request, you may administratively appeal
by writing to the Director, Office of Information Policy (OIP), United States Department of
Justice, Suite 11050, 1425 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20530-0001, or you may
submit an appeal through OIP's FOIAonline portal by creating an account on the following web
