preparation. A government-run pre-filled tax preparation system that makes the tax
collector (who is also the investigator, auditor and enforcer) the tax preparer is fraught
with conflicts of interest. Only the taxpayer knows the unique details of their life
necessary to accurately prepare their taxes, including the credits they qualify for and the
deductions they deserve.
