Dear Senators of the Elon Student Government Association,
I am writing to inform you all that I am resigning from my position as President
of the Class of 2022 effective immediately.
In light of my resignation, I want to clarify that I am resigning for me and my
well being. In addition to pursuing an education in both Dance Performance and
Choreography and Political Science, there are a lot of things I am juggling at this
moment. While I will always value advocating on behalf of the student body at this
pristine university, I must be an advocate for myself as well. Because of this, I am
taking a step back from the Elon Student Government Association. This decision has
not been an easy one. However as much as it pains me, I know that it is the right
decision.
I would also like to take this time to thank each and every one of you. Thank
you for assuming your positions and working to make our campus better for
everyone. Although I am taking a break, this is not goodbye forever! I look forward to
seeing what this senate accomplishes in the near future and I also look forward to
working with many of you in the future!
