KNOCHELMANN EXECUTIVE ORDER 19-116 An order of the Judge-Executive of the County of Kenton, Kentucky, declaring an Emergency as a result of Median Barrier Wall Damage on Interstate I-75 between mile markers 187.6 and 187.7. WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statute 39A.100 (2) states that upon written declaration that ?the event or occurrence of any of the situations or events contemplated in KRS 39A.010, or 39A.020, which in the judgment of a local chief executive officer is of such severity or complexity as to require the exercise of extraordinary measure the County Judge-Executive of a may declare in writing that an emergency exists," and; The Office of the County Judge-Executive has been in communication with the Director of the County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and determined that an emergency declaration must take effect to facilitate immediate ?Emergency Repairs? to the Median Barrier wall, on Interstate l?75 between mile markers 187.6 and 187.7. Judge Knochelmann cites that due to the severe damage to the ?Median Barrier Wall" resulting from several Commercial Motor Vehicle accidents, the traveling public is placed in great risk of serious injury or death. Under the Executive Order issued by the County Judge Executive, immediate emergency protective measures to replace the damaged and missing portions of the median barrier will occur in order to protect life and property of the traveling public. Now, THEREFORE, Be it ordered this day that an Emergency shall be in effect in Kenton County until said order is reversed. This order shall be in full force and effect upon signature.
