David Prater) Dear Mr. Attorney General Hunter, In the recent few weeks I have had the unfortunate occasion to reach out to your office to seek assistance in regards to misuse of your multicounty grand jury subpoenas, harassment and misuse of law enforcement tools by an Oklahoma County Investigator against my client’s former colleague, and even tax fraud by the First Assistant D.A. after his signing of tax charges against a sitting judge. My investigation has revealed two alarming matters that are related to my case. I have confirmed through three separate and independent sources that Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater approached the District Attorney for Pottawatomie County Allan Grubb and requested that he initiate an investigation, that may include a wiretap, of former Speaker of the House Kris Steele and one of the leaders of Oklahomans for Criminal Justice Reform. It is my understanding that D.A. Grubb refused. As I have before, I am respectfully requesting that an investigation into Mr. Prater’s attempts to seek a wiretap and investigate Mr. Kris Steele in Pottawatomie County by D.A. Allan Grubb. I applaud Mr. Grubb’s courage to stand up against Mr. Prater and believe that he will cooperate fully in any investigation. Gifford law, P.L.L.C. /S/ Bobby Don Gifford ROBERT D.
