GR SUPRA PACE CAR
To celebrate Supra’s first time in NASCAR, the Xfinity Series honored Toyota by selecting the
2020 GR Supra to be its Official Pace Car for the 2019 season. The 2020 GR Supra Pace Car features
the same 3.0-liter, turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine produces 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft
torque, transferred to the tarmac by way of an 8-speed transmission. Sprayed in a deep red hue called
Renaissance Red 2.0 and adorned with pace car livery, the pace car was equipped with a Whelen LED light
bar mounted atop the roof with flashing LEDs in the bumpers to provide visual markers to help drivers identify
the pace car during starts, restarts and cautions. Toyota lowered the car and upgraded the brake pads to a more
aggressive compound. A set of 19-inch HRE Forged P101SC Monoblok wheels equipped with Goodyear Eagle F1
Asymmetric 3 tires add a personalized touch to the Pace Car’s appearance.

GR SUPRA HERITAGE EDITION
Like any instant classic, the 2020 GR Supra is an amazing sports car. The Supra’s return made it the
perfect platform to use in a SEMA Show build-off between Ed Laukes, group vice president, Toyota
Division Marketing and TV star Rutledge Wood. With direction from Ed, Toyota collaborated with Marty
Schwerter and his team at Motorsports Technical Center (MTC) to incorporate some classic details from
the legendary MKIV while staying inside the fenders of the GR Supra.
An actual MKIV Supra wing, customized by MTC and LG Motorsports sits atop the hatch, a visual cue of its
heritage. Incorporating other vintage elements like the headlights and taillights proved a daunting challenge.
This led to the design and manufacture of custom lighting, which feature 3D-printed buckets and lenses
CNC-machined from blocks of acrylic.
On the performance side, a customized factory turbocharger by Precision Turbo & Engine provides an additional
18-percent airflow. With ECU calibration by Mission Performance, the Heritage Edition made over 500 horsepower
heading into the show.
Putting the power to the ground required as much tire under the chassis as possible. To maintain the body lines
while accommodating a wider wheel and tire packaged at the rear, MTC and Scarbo Performance designed an
inboard suspension system. Borrowed from open-wheel racecar designs, this suspension allowed the use of
11-inch wide HRE P107SC wheels with meaty 305/30R19 Toyo Proxes R888R tires without cutting the rear fenders.
Behind the wheel spokes, Brembo Monobloc calipers with 2-piece rotors reign in the speed at all four corners.

GR SUPRA HYPERBOOST EDITION
NASCAR Analyst and Toyota SEMA MC, Rutledge Wood, is a self-proclaimed Supra fanatic who
also owns a MKIV Supra. Toyota partnered with Wood to develop a 2020 GR Supra for a SEMA Show
build-off with Ed Laukes, GVP-Toyota Division Marketing. Wood was thrilled to work with Toyota and
Rick Leos of LL17 Motorsports again, presenting his vision for the ultimate Supra, incorporating aesthetics
and performance into one amazing machine. He could hardly contain his excitement to work
on this dream build, which the team dubbed, “GR Supra HyperBoost Edition”.
They designed a 20-piece wide-body kit that gives this hyper-boosted machine more aggressive body lines
with broad shoulders. This kit is manufactured from strong and lightweight carbon-fiber composites. KW V3
adjustable coil-over suspension drops the widened chassis over a set of custom 20-inch Litespeed wheels.
These wheels rely on Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires to provide traction, giving the HyperBoost extra
grip and a menacing stance.
Under the hood, this aptly named project features a custom turbo kit by Boost Logic. The tubular manifold feeds
exhaust gases into a Boost Logic BL Supra 750 Package turbocharger to generate boost pressure. Boost Logic
also fashioned a downpipe to direct spent gases from the turbine to the rear of the chassis by way of a custom
titanium exhaust system. Once calibrated with more fuel and air, the HyperBoost Edition produced more than
double the factory output, generating 750-plus horsepower.

GR SUPRA 3000GT CONCEPT
Toyota Customizing & Development (TCD) presents the GR Supra 3000GT Concept. This build
draws inspiration from the original 1994 TRD3000GT wide-body kit. This iconic wide-body aero kit
was released in limited production to celebrate the Supra’s success in the All-Japan Grand Touring
Car Championship.
TCD infused the GR Supra with styling cues reflecting the MKIV DNA, technology, and history. This concept
received a more aggressive appearance while the hood vents and rear-wing styling were modeled after
the original. The rear fascia incorporates a custom exhaust system built by HKS. Once the exterior build was
completed, Spin Imaging wrapped the body in a brushed silver and gold vinyl, bringing out the aggressive
lines of the new bodywork.
TEIN Street Advance Z adjustable coilovers lower the chassis onto 19-inch TWS Motorsport RS317 forgedaluminum wheels fitted with Toyo Proxes R888R tires. From behind the wheel spokes, Brembo GT-S Monobloc
brake calipers peek through, delivering enhanced stopping performance.
Inside the cabin, a pair of FIA-approved BRIDE Xero CS racing seats position the occupants, while upgraded
Pioneer speakers provide enhanced sounds to suit the mood.

GR SUPRA PERFORMANCE LINE CONCEPT
Toyota Customizing & Development (TCD) presents the GR Supra Performance Line Concept. The
aerodynamics package is manufactured from carbon fiber, making it strong, lightweight and visually
stunning. A lip spoiler with larger winglets adds breadth to the front bumper. The side skirts provide
a lower side profile to the chassis. The door garnishes are not only visually appealing, but also help
in smoothing airflow past the door and over the rear quarter panels. Rear spats with large winglets direct
air past the bumper, while the hatch spoiler increases downforce at the rear of the car.
TCD designed a set of 19-inch, forged-aluminum wheels for the Performance Line Concept. Featuring a concave,
mesh-spoke design, these strong and lightweight wheels resist deflection and reduce un-sprung weight,
sharpening the Supra’s handling characteristics. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires provide grip for optimal traction
and road holding.

GR SUPRA WASABI CONCEPT
Toyota Genuine Accessory Team presents a Street/Track vision of the Supra, the GR Supra Wasabi
Concept. Named for its bold green hue, this build benefits from enhanced bodywork and a rear
spoiler, courtesy of Five Axis. Integrated into the rear fascia, the dual tips of the 102mm Toyota “Super
Single” center-exit exhaust system gives the Supra a deep, throaty exhaust note.
Strong and lightweight 20-inch Toyota forged-aluminum wheels equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires
provide improved grip for optimal handling and traction. A closer look through the wheel spokes reveals Brembo
B-M brake calipers with massive two-piece brake rotors at each corner.
The chassis is suspended on Öhlins Road & Track adjustable coilovers. This suspension features DFV (Dual Flow
Valve) inverted monotube dampers with adjustments for low and high speed compression, as well as rebound.
These adjustable dampers offer complete ride height adjustability to accommodate the perils of the street as well
as the groomed surfaces found at the track.
