CFPB Issue Type: Fraud or scam   --- What Happened: I clicked on a link on Facebook (under Fox
News) about buying gold/silver for information. Within 24 hours I received a call talking about
Fox News asking questions about watching and favorite program. Then Advanced to buying
silver. After about 45 min of high pressure sales I finally hung up- not buying. Next day another
phone call about future of “the dollar” “possibly losing annuity and or IRA to government. After
about 1 hour high pressure I was convinced to transfer my IRA to a silver coins IRA (New
Direction IRA) and my annuity to silver coins- which I have in silver coins. My complaint is th
high pressure sales buy at “Fair Market Price” but buy back at current price of silver which is a
loss of $8 per coin. Which is a current loss about 1/3 of my savings and IRA. This happened in
Nov 2017. I heard about this scam on News last week and I was ashamed to have been scamed.
I am 70 year grandmother raising 2 grandkids. I don’t know if I’ll live long enough to ever
recoup my losses or have enough money to provide for them or even me. --- Fair Resolution:
Chase Metals Of Beverly Hills, CaNew Direction IRA Louisville, Co. I would to recover my IRA
($83.000) from silver coins. I would like to return my silver coins for a full refund at their Fair
Market price (about 2600 coins) I returned 572 coins 2 weeks ago because I had to liquidate at
a loss of $4000. They taped all my transactions so they legal record of all transactions- but not
my complaints of losses. The salesman is Mark Benning CRD#6088991 of Chase Metals
