Public Records Request Date: September 3, 2019 at 2:45:33 PM EDT To: Bobby Rea Thank you for your questions and concerns. At this time, the City of Homestead as an entity has not taken any of?cial action as it relates to engaging Dorian relief efforts or fundraising. The City Council as a body may elect to engage in such activities in the future. It was brought to the City's attention yesterday that a ?yer was being circulated that contained the City Seal. The creator of the ?yer was contacted 8 remove the seal and it was removed. To bring state, co municipal agencies together so fast is amazing. The social media campaign that is underway has really taken 03 and I?m sure your fund raising e?o?s will prove invaluable to our friends and ne suffering in the Bahamas. In the interest of good government and full transparency, I think our community should be fully briefed on this important endeavor.
