dated August h, contains observations made by Police foicer
Adrian Halsei. Itssus.

At approximately 1255 hours. the officer observed Frank
Sheeran entering the premises. He was in the company of a white
male, HS-SD years old, tall. light brown hair, 130-155 pounds.
He was wearing a light blue short sleeved shirt and dark trousers.
They proceeded to sit sent to the officer. Danny was observed
walking over to Frank and his companion. As they exchanged
greetings the male was introduced to Danny as "Charley" by
Frank. Frank then went on to ask if "Russ was in.? Denny replied
that ?Russ was in the dining As they went on to converse
Frank told Danny that he had been in Buffalo for two weeks.

Danny went on to ask Frank about his family. ifrank told Danny
that everybody was fine._

As Prank Sheeran and Charley was seated at the bar
conversing the officer noted that Bharley has a tattoo on his left
upper arm and a tattoo of what appeared to be a small cross by
his left index finger and thumb. Frank Sheeran was wearing a
yellow metal coin ring. [the coin is surrounded by what appeared
to be small diamonds] on his left hand. and a yellow metal watch;
the face of the watch is square and surrounded by small diamonds.

a few minutes after Johnny Francis had entered the
dining room. he returned to the bar and joined Prank Sheeran and

Charley. At one point as they consersed, the name of I?Jimmy? was

overheard being mentioned by Frank. He was overheard to tell

Hr. Francis that the FBI had entered the investigation because of
the extortion letter which was received by a friend of Jimmy's.
as they continued on talking. Frank told franeis that he was not
in Detroit when he disappeared. Several times their conyersation

turned to a low tone and the officer was unable to intercept.
