This “hub” would facilitate connectivity between all modes of travel and access including: local bus, intercity bus, intercity rail, bicycles, pedestrians, carpooling, ridesharing, taxis and transportation network companies (Uber, Lyft), vehicle sharing, and bicycle sharing among others. The Lakeland Intermodal Center would serve as a “mobility center” for the region.
