Tennessee St. in reference to a theft which just occurred. Upon arrival, he made contact with Loss Prevention Officer . advised the following: He was reviewing the surveillance video and observed the suspect, later identified as , enter the store. He walked to the Electronics Department and selected an LG Premier Pro LTE cell phone ($79.99) and walked to the bathroom with the phone. Once he walked out, no longer had the phone in his possession. immediately checked the bathroom where was and observed the empty cell phone package. was unable to detain prior to him leaving the store, and officers were unable to locate him in the area. While working as an investigator with the Property Crimes Unit, I was assigned this case to conduct a followup investigation. I disseminated a “Request for Information” bulletin in an attempt to identify the suspect. On 04/25/19, Captain , from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office was able to use law enforcement databases to identify the suspect as .
