AFFIDAVIT OF PROBABLE CAUSE

Comes now, the af?ant, Of?cer-of the Lady Lake Police Department a sworn law
enforcement of?cer, who personally appeared before a notary public or certi?ed. of?cer, makes
this af?davit, which has been electronically submitted to the Court. The affiant swears under oath
that she has probable cause to believe t-hatcertain laws have been violated in Lake County,
Florida and that on or about 10/26/2016 for Retail Theft, _id commit
Retail Theft F.S.S.

That the events hereinafter set forth occurred at Belk on 1020 Bichara Blvd. Lady
Lake FL, 32159 in Lake County.

On 10/26/2016 at approximately 1723 hours, I was dispatched to the above address
in reference to retail theft.

Upon my arrival the Defendant had already ?ed the scene with the stolen
merchandise.

While reviewing video provided by the store?s Asset Protection, I observed the the
defendant enter into the store and go into the aisle with fragrances.

While in the fragrance aisle the Defendant selected a bottle of Versace perfume, and
walked towards the shoe department.

The Defendant concealed the perfume and selected a pair of boots and put the boots
on her feet and discarded the shoes she entered the store with, into the shoebox for
the boots.

The Defendant then past all points of sale and exited the store with the perfume and
the boots with the intent to deprive Belk of the merchandise or any bene?t from the
merchandise.

The Defendant made no attempt to purchase the merchandise, that was valued at
$93.00.

The theft was witnessed by Loss Prevention?and a sworn af?davit
with intent to prosecute was obtained.

-hrough a photo recognition software program called FACES.
