The vehicle signaled to turn left (westbound) on Washington St from Tampa Ave at a red light. The light turned green but did not have a green arrow. A vehicle traveling southbound entered the intersection to go south on Tampa Ave due to the straight green light. The black truck turned directly in front of the vehicle. failing to yield right of way as it traveled into the intersection and westbound on Washington St. When I pulled directly behind the vehicle at the light I checked the tag on my MCT, and noted the registered owner did not have a valid driver?s license. Due to the above traf?c infractions, I initiated my lights and sirens. The vehicle came to a stop at Washington St and Coburn Av. seatbelts. The three individuals were positively identi?ed as (Driver), ar passenger), and (middle passenger).l made contact ?rstwithFl informed him of why I pulled him over, and asked for his driver?s license, registration, and proof of insurance. said the truck belonge at he could give me his name. When I pulled out of the vehicle, a plastic bottle with burnt edges and a bundle of copper mesh was seen on the ?oorboard near feet. Based on training and experience, the object was recognized to me as a crack pipe and drug paraphernalia for smoking crack cocaine. Ser eant A. (17714) had - step out of the vehicle. Sergeant-located a glass tube with burnt copper mesh in one end on person. She also located a used hypodermic needle on -erson. Once _was detained, Sergeant also located a small plastic bag with white circular pills bearing imprints 027? on person. See Sergeant supplement for more information.
