EW Accelerated High School Audit Date: 10/3/2019 High School Credit Accumulation Compliance 25 Total Files were audited. Due to the nature of program, it is difficult to distinguish between grades though some files did indicate which grade the student was in. Overall, files for students that are close to graduating (those on track to graduate in February or June of this year) were very comprehensive and detailed planning and counselor/student collaboration was evident. Specifically, the files of Ms. Indie and Ms. Collins were complete. Files for students in the Advisories of Dorsey, Dabon, Bruno and Kelly were not as complete. RAHS teachers should replicate the processes used by Ms. Indie and Ms. Collins across the board in order to become fully compliant. Individual Graduation Signatures: 0 3/25 included all signatures 0 1/25 included student/counselor signatures 0 18/25 included no signatures 0 3/25 Files did not include an IGP Jumpstart Graduation Pathway Selection: 0 All students at RAHS are placed into the TOPS University Pathway 0 1/25 denoted that the student was on the TOPS University Pathway. 24/25 did not. Academic Support Plans T9: 0 According to RAHS, no students are on T9 plans. Individual Assessment Reports: 0 4/25 files included all LEAP 2025 EOC score reports. The remaining did not. Some files included a partial set of score reports. 0 13/25 reflected LEAP 2025 EOC scores. 12/25 did not. 0 No files contained ACT score reports nor were results on students? Course Selections and total credits: 0 RAHS has created ?Individual Learning Plans? for their students that differ from the LDOE-created IGP. See attached. 0 19/25 included student credits earned in previous years. 6/25 did not include credits earned in previous years. 0 21/25 reflected current year credits. 0 No showed a total ofcredits earned and credits needed. IGP must express credits and courses earned and needed. (See Graduation Tracker on IGP to include this information). 0 12/25 transcripts included grade and credits earned; 13/25 were not able to be veri?ed as STS Transcripts were not available. Diploma Endorsement: RAHS does not offer diploma endorsements. Gifted and Talented Courses: RAHS doesn?t have students. Credit Recovery: Students that Fail to pass a course are either placed back into that course For a second time or given an independent study of the content with the teacher of the course depending upon the level of need. Students earn credit at the end of the second attempt either by passing the EOC or state-approved pro?ciency exams.
