I have read the details and find that my qualifications, experience, and interests are a good match for the requirements listed. My education and career have both focused on human behavior and population dynamics. in studying and analyzing Minnesota's demographic reality, it is my firm belief that that every resident--especially our historically underrepresented groups or neighborhoods--should have equitable access to opportunity. These are the very groups and neighborhoods that climate change will have a disproportion impact on, I am motivated to make this community, state, and country a better place for all children to thrive, no matter what they look like. I have spent the last seven-andahalf years supporting other state agencies, councils, elected officials, as well as unaffiliated citizens of the public and private sectors. have provlded sworn testimony to the Minnesota Legislature as the members discuss and decide on the critically important characteristics of inequities in our state. During these testimonies, urged the committee members to understand that these demographic realities increase the urgency of action to successfully integrate new Americans and people of Color into Minnesota's community and workforce. I also serve on the Children's Defense Fund KIDS COUNT Advisory Council where I use my platform as a subiect matter expert to illuminate our inequities in as great of detail as the data allow i hope to bring to the Governor's Advisory Council on Climate Change a career focused on researching and advocating for racial equity and the education and experience of confidently translating complex topics so that informed decisions can be made in a more efficient manner, I appreciate your time and consideration reading my resume and other information.
