These frameworks act as a barometer of success, identifying areas for improvement or areas of concerns and highlight the success of a school. They also act as an accountability metric, so that if a school falls below a certain threshold on any of the performance frameworks, they receive timely corrective action to improve outcomes. 1 School Performance Scorecard 2 Operations Scorecard 3 Financial Scorecard 7 SCS RENEWAL SCORING DETERMINATION A school's final recommendation for renewal or non-renewal is primarily based on data from the 3 Core Components: • Academics (SPS data) • Operations (Operations Scorecard) • Finance (Financial Scorecard) Performance Level Score Range Recommended for renewal 3.0-5.0 Recommended for non-renewal 1.00-2.99 8 Metric Overview School Performance Scorecard Weighted Categories Category K-8 Schools Secondary Schools Achievement 40% 35% Growth 40% 35% Climate 20% 10% College & Career n/a 20% Calculation Note: In accordance with the 2018 hold-harmless statue passed by the General Assembly, Where 2017-2018 TN Ready data was detrimental to a school's SPS, it was removed.
