Marsee 1672F, is an of?cer of the Fort Wayne Police Department. The ant bLlieves and has good cause to believe that the said Defendant committed the aforesaid The Af?ant bases his belief on the fact that on January 14mI 2020 at approximately 14:00 to 15 .00 hours Defendant KENNISHA JACKSON was involved In a shooting at where DIQUAN was shot while inside the h6use. Victim, DIQUAN MERIWETHER, was found outside of a 2012 Chev Malibu parked in the 3100 block of Santa Lisa Ct. The driver of the Malibu, um i was interviewed and told detectives she picked Diquan up and took him to an address on Abbott St. Once at the address Diquan told her he needed to collect some money from a girl named KENNISHA. WW I i said Diquan went into the house and she stayed in her car. A short time later she heard one gunshot and Diquan came running out of the house. When he to the car he collapsed falling into the street almost under the 1 said she got out and put Diquan into her car and started driving him to his friend?s apartment on Roseview Dr where she picked up all .She called 911 and was told to stop which she did at Santa Lisa Ct and Vance Ave. There medIic on scene and took Diquan to PRMC where he was declared deceased. I i i . Detective Noll and Zolman went to Waiter officers were shown by Wain-1m what house she had taken DIQUAN to. Detective N011 and Zolman went to the door where they met with JACKSON. She told them Diquan came to her house and pulled a gun on her. He dropped the gun; she picked the gun up and shot him. JACKSON was taken to the police station for interview due to her statement. Once at the police station JACKSON asked for a lawyer without making a statement. JACKSON did not'call police at any time after the shooting. By the time Detectives found where the shooting took place almost an hour and half had passed since the shooting. Detectives arrived at approximately 16:25Ihrs_ I Witness, victims a ., told Detectives she was in the house and heard JACK ION arguing. \ng said she was upstairs at the time and started down the stairs to 'seijwha} was going on. 1 said she got halfway down the stairs she saw both JACKSON and DIQIUI staInIdiIng with guns at their sides. said she went back upstairs and then heard one gunshot but 'did not go 1601: to see what happen. A short time later JACKSON came upstairs and said DIQUAN ran. ?'orn the house. During this time JACKSON did not make any phone calls to the police to report the' shooting. WW called 91 1 at 15: 03hrs reporting the shooting and she was with DIQUAN. WM 1 I had. driven for some time trying to get to DIQUAN's friend apartment. i Crime scene found red stain on the porch, front doorway, and living room. Crime scene: alsoI fI'oimd one bullet hole' 1n the front door which appeared to have been open at the time of the shooting.- -Tlie horite appeared to have been cleaned befdre detectives made the scene.
