MEETING MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS NEW ORLEANS PUBLIC FACILITY MANAGEMENT, INC. A Meeting of the New Orleans Public Facility Management, Inc. was held on Monday, September 25, 2017 in the Board Room at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center – New Orleans, 900 Convention Center Boulevard, New Orleans, Louisiana. Chairman Rodrigue called the meeting to order at 10:07 a.m. and asked for a roll call. Motion approved with no additions, corrections, deletions or changes noted. Director Guidry moved to approve a resolution for the Interim Management Executive Team. Motion seconded by Director Berni. Motion approved. Vice Chairman Bray moved to approve a resolution to designate The New Orleans Advocate as Primary Official Newspaper. Motion seconded by Director Banks. Chairman Rodrigue stated that his partner is the owner of The New Orleans Advocate so he recused from the motion. Director Berni abstained. Motion approved. Director Berni moved approval to contract with IRE Crown Rinks, LLC for the Ice Rink for the NOLA Christmas Fest 2017. Motion seconded by Secretary Groos. Motion approved. 1 Director Berni moved approval to contract with Graybar Electric Co., Inc. for Networking Supplies and Howard Industries, Inc., dba Howard Technology Solutions for Networking Supplies. Motion seconded by Commissioner Hammond. Motion approved. Director Belletto moved approval to ratify documents for August 2017: (1) Screenflex Portable Partitions, Inc. for Partitions and (2) Snap Drape International for Table Skirts. Motion seconded by Director Banks. Motion approved. Mr. Tim Hemphill, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, gave the Sales & Marketing and Communications reports. Motion approved. 2 Ms. Alita Caparotta, Vice President of Finance & Administration reviewed the July 2017 Financial Statements and the 2013-2017 Tax Statements. Commissioner Berni motioned for the board to seek an opinion from the State of Louisiana Attorney General Office as to the legality of including “living wage” requirements in professional services procurement documents. Motion seconded by Commissioner Robertson. A roll-call vote was requested.
