I hope this email ?nds you well and that your field season is progressing nicely.

The Bee Care team in Germany is planning a small internal event on 3th September to celebrate the fact that the Bayer Bee
Care Center has now been open for five years. At this event. the Bee Care science team will be presenting some of the
projects which are running with scientific partners under the Bee Care Scienti?c Research Program. As part of the
presentation and displayed banners to internal colleagues. we would like to also include some quotes from partners we are

working with. including some of our partners in the US.

I was asked to reach out to some of Beyer's US partners that we work together with on projects and initiatives and
would like to know if you are willing to send us a short quote (1-2 eentencee?lnee) and a photo which we can use for
this purpose.

The quote could. for example. answer one of the following points (but it certainly om not have to ?t this template):

- Why is the partnership with Bayer Bee Care Center important for your bee research and how has this collaboration proved
helpful to you?

- Is it important that research institutions and industry partners work together and if so. from your experience. why? How is
your partnership with the Bayer Bee Care Center for speci?c projects helping you?

Our global bee care colleagues are also preparing a short publication article on why collaboration between industry and
researchers is important and how this benefits both parties. We would also be interested in using your quote for this. Please
let me know if you are happy for your quote to also be used for this. We would. of course. check with you again and provide
the article to you for review before anything was published. so you could decide if your quote can be used for this purpose.

If you are interested and willing to support us in this effort can you please can you send me your quote and photograph by
Thursday 31st August. so that we can prepare the wall banners for the event on 3th September.
