It is schedule for Saturday, January 25, 2020. I assure you and your administration that the leadership of Local 1733 does not support any action that violates city ordinance or the Memorandum of Understanding, between the City of Memphis and AFSCME Local 1733. I was provided a copy of a flyer asking employees to appear before the next Memphis City Council meeting to ask for the removal of Mr. Albert Lamar, Director of Solid Waste. This flyer bares the AFSCME logo, but it has not been approved or circulated by any elected or hired representative of Local 1733. AFSCME Local 1733 is committed to our membership who is working to ensure that we deliver world class service to the community in which we live, play, and work. Respectfully, f2.
